What You’ll Do as a Chapter Volunteer

  • Mentor members pursuing PMP/CAPM certifications or PMI role‐specific training.
  • Coordinate CSR initiatives—organize tree‐planting drives, skill‐building workshops, and community service events.
  • Maintain website/CRM updates—manage the event calendar, compile member feedback, and keep volunteer rosters current.

Through local PMI chapters, members meet their peers, make new contacts, network, build knowledge, share solutions and ideas, and enjoy activities and events. Volunteer positions with our local chapter range from formal positions (such as president, secretary, vice president of membership, vice president of professional development, vice president of finance and volunteer coordinator) to less formal positions assisting with various events, chapter programs and committees.
